HVAC commissioning is often misunderstood as a final tick box exercise. In reality it is a structured process that runs alongside a project and decides whether a building performs as designed.

At Valserve we start with system start up, checking that components are correctly installed and ready before any testing begins. We then run performance tests under real operating conditions to confirm heating, cooling, ventilation and controls behave as intended.

Next comes proportional balancing of air and water systems to CIBSE and BSRIA guidelines. Correct balancing is what removes cold spots, draughts and wasted energy. Throughout, our engineers track and document any snags so they can be resolved quickly.

Finally we hand over with recorded flow rates, volumes and performance data, giving the building owner clear evidence that systems are working within design parameters.
